Trouble saying the r sound

Some speakers have trouble with the r sound even after months or years of therapy. Studies have shown that computer-based therapy methods are sometimes helpful. The NYU Steinhardt Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders is comparing traditional and computer-based therapy methods to find out which is more effective.

We are looking for English-speaking children between 9 and 14 years of age to participate in our research study. Participants will receive FREE therapy twice per week for ten weeks (total time commitment of 13 weeks, including evaluations).

SPEECH SOUND PERCEPTION STUDY
Ears wanted.

The NYU Steinhardt Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders is studying the relationship between listening skills and speech skills in typical children and adolescents.

We are looking for native English-speaking individuals between 9 and 14 years of age to participate in our study.

Participants will come to our lab at NYU to speak and listen to speech sounds. The total time commitment is 1.5 hours. Participants will receive $40 upon completion of the study.
